Why AKI

Why do you keep missing the same shot?

Your body has the answer. AKI finds it. Upload a video of your shot and get a complete biomechanical analysis. We detect technical errors, compensations and timing.

What is AKI

Technical analysis frame by frame.

AKI is a biomechanical analysis system applied to basketball shooting. It analyzes your movement whether standing or jumping.

Detects technical errors, identifies body compensations and evaluates the complete movement sequence.

Technology

Biomechanics made clear.

01

Biomechanical analysis.

Evaluates positions, angles and movement in each frame.

02

Compensation detection.

Identifies which body part corrects errors from another.

03

Applied training.

Turns errors into concrete improvement exercises.

What others don't see

AKI finds it.

01

Precise detection.

AKI identifies technical errors invisible to the naked eye.

Biomechanics
02

Clear correction.

Tells you what is wrong and how to fix it with specific exercises.

03

Efficient training.

Train focusing on what you actually need to improve.

Performance
04

Injury prevention.

Detects compensations that cause chronic overload before they become injuries.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know.

How does AKI work?

1. Video upload

Upload your recording with a maximum size of 400 MB. At 30 fps, this lets you analyze sessions of just over one minute.

2. Marking and Synchronization

You define the exact moment so the AI works with precision:

  • Capture: Press Play and wait for the player to shoot and land again. At that moment, click the Manual button.
  • Precision adjustment (Trigger): Use the Frame buttons on the player to find the exact point where the ball leaves the hand and click Confirm. Repeat for each shot in the video.

3. 3D Mode Synchronization

3D analysis uses two videos (front and side). It does not matter if one video started before the other; synchronization is by order of execution.

  • Shot 1 from the front video will automatically sync with Shot 1 from the side video, and so on. Just make sure the order of shots is the same in both cameras.

4. AI Results

Once all shots are marked, click AI Analysis to receive:

  • Player feedback: Clear information about their mechanics.
  • Technical Report: Advanced data for the coach or trainer.
  • Improvement Plan: Specific exercises and goals for the next analysis.
What do I need to use AKI?

2D - One camera

Any smartphone that records at 30, 60 or 120 fps works for standard analysis.

3D - Two cameras

Two phones used simultaneously (front and side view) for maximum precision.

Recording conditions

  • No movement: The camera must be still. Use a tripod or rest it on a chair, bench or any stable surface.
  • Clean background: The background must be clear, without people or objects crossing the shot.
  • Watch the wind: It is the main enemy of precision. If the phone shakes, calculations may fail.
What is the difference between 2D and 3D?

2D: Full analysis with a single shot. Data may vary slightly due to camera perspective.

3D: Analysis with two angles (front and side). Greater data precision and error detection.

Does AKI work with just one phone?

Yes. You can use the system in 2D mode with just one camera. For greater precision, two cameras (3D mode) are recommended.

Does AKI work on Android and iPhone?

Yes. AKI works on any phone — Android or iPhone. You only need your phone's camera to record the video.

How do I activate AKI Analysis?

Choose a plan and complete the payment. Once confirmed, AKI Analysis will be automatically enabled in your account.

What video format do I need to use?

MP4, MOV or any standard smartphone format. Minimum recommended resolution: 1080p. Minimum 30 FPS (60 FPS recommended).

How should the cameras be positioned?

Front: Facing the player.

Side: Profile of the player (90 degrees).

Both must capture the full body.

Is AKI useful for coaches or clubs?

Yes. There is a plan for academies and clubs that allows:

  • Multiple users
  • Coach (DT) access
  • Player access
  • Management from a main account

The origin of AKI

Without Bad Days.

AKI Sports Tech - 4 invention patents

Everything began during my first golf lessons. I had never touched a golf club before. The first lesson went badly, but during the second one, the ball took off from the ground, I felt I was giving it direction, and it was a perfect day.

The next lesson was a disaster all over again. The ball wouldn't fly, the direction was horrible, and I was angry with the golf club, with the ball, and with myself. My coach looked at me and asked, "What's wrong?". "Nothing, just a bad day," I replied.

He told me something that changed everything: "There is no such thing as a bad day. You might choose the wrong golf club to hit the golf ball with, but when it comes to hitting it, if you hit it badly, it's because your technique failed."

I applied it to basketball first, and I realized it was true: you don't miss because of bad days, you miss because there is a mistake in your technique. That's how my obsession with biomechanics and metrics started.

That is where a vision and a dream were born. Today, AKI is kicking things off with the analysis program. It is the beginning of a journey backed by 4 invention patents and many new things to come.

Our philosophy

Talent has no passport.

Access to elite training technology shouldn't be a privilege. It should be a right.

At AKI we believe talent has no passport, no economy, and no border.

AKI was born to democratize sports training. So that any athlete, anywhere in the world, can analyze their technique — their shot, their posture, their mechanics — with the same precision used by professional teams.

All you need is a phone. And the will to improve.

Because sport is one of the most universal languages there is. And no one should be left out for lack of access to the right technology.

AKI connects those dots. So everyone can become better.
